A native of Los Angeles, Daniel S. Farmer attended UCLA, where he was a four-year starter in both football and volleyball. As a volleyball standout, he was instrumental in helping UCLA win two National Championships in 1996 and 1998.
In football, Danny holds UCLA’s career record for receiving yardage and is in the top five in many receiving categories. He helped the Bruins win back-to-back Pac-10 Conference Championships in 1997 and 1998. While earning a degree in history, Danny also received an NCAA post-graduate scholarship, which is awarded to student athletes who excel academically and athletically in their final year of intercollegiate athletics.
Following his college career, Danny was an NFL wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins.
After his retirement from the NFL, Danny started in the insurance business at Gilbert Krupin in 2007. In 2011, Danny joined Parq Advisors in Beverly Hills. In May of 2016, Danny joined the Elkins Jones Insurance Agency in West Los Angeles, where Danny and his team are responsible for providing insurance and risk management solutions to clients in a broad range of industries and disciplines. Elkins Jones has a depth of expertise in many areas of personal/commercial insurance including real estate, private equity, technology, and entertainment.
