Danny Farmer

Danny Farmer combines his passion for sports, community and family to ensure his clients receive the best insurance policies and estate planning services for their families’ long-term financial health.

Danny specializes in helping younger, high net-worth families determine the best life insurance scenario for their needs. He also has the foresight to assure their policies will eventually feed into the optimal wealth transfer plan as their family continues to grow. Although he joined Gilbert-Krupin in 2006, Danny’s client base already spans some of the most prestigious areas of Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Prior to joining Gilbert-Krupin, Danny was an NFL wide receiver who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins. Throughout his football career, Danny witnessed young players with families come into the NFL and experienced a whole new level of wealth for the first time. Through his own career experience, he realized that insurance was essential to maintaining their long-term wealth, particularly as they entered a field that could be ended by a simple injury.

A native of Los Angeles, Danny attended UCLA, where he was recruited to play both Football and Volleyball. In volleyball, he was instrumental in helping UCLA win two National Championships in 1996 and 1998. In football, Danny was a four-year starter who helped the Bruins win back-to-back Pac-10 Conference Championships in 1997 and 1998. By his senior year, Danny was touted as one of the nation’s finest receivers. Danny still holds UCLA’s career record for receiving yardage, and is in the top five in many receiving categories at UCLA. While earning a degree in history, Danny also received an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship, which is awarded to student-athletes who excel in academically and athletically in their final year of intercollegiate athletes.

Danny spends his free time playing sports, with his family, and serving his community. He is on the board of directors for Orangewood Pals, Project Play, and sits on a committee for the Cedars-Sinai Sports Spectacular. He is also an active member of the UCLA Alumni Association.

Danny resides in Newport Beach, CA.
